I'd Like To Pee on Dana Loesch*

Right-wing extremist, teabagger, CNN contributor, and "editor" of one of racist scumbag Andrew Breitbart's websites, Dana Loesch, is getting a lot of attention for some ridiculous comments she made recently regarding corpse desecration and her desire to participate.

On her radio show (don't ask me where or when it's on, just turn on AM radio...you'll find some fascist, righty, blowhard blathering on about something conservative and lame), Ms. Loesch celebrated the recent discovery of videos of US Marines urinating on the dead bodies of Taliban soldiers. "I'd drop trou and do it too. That's me, though. I want a million cool points for these guys...C'mon people, this is a war," she said. "Do I have a problem with that as a citizen of the United States? No, I don't."

Well, actually, if you care at all about the US Mission in Afghanistan, you should have a problem with it. While this incident is less severe than the torture regime initiated by the Bush Administration or the systematic humiliation of Iraqis at Abu Ghraib; once again, the actions of a few damage the image and reputation of the Unites States and its military around the world. As with the discovery of Abu Ghraib and the enhanced interrogation torture, the reaction from the public, the military, and the international community was one of revulsion. The reaction from American conservatives was one of glee. Sheer, unadulterated glee.

"Geneva Convention? How quaint. You liberals and your silly rules! We can do whatever we want! We are Americans, you stupid liberal scumbag! We can shit on the rest of the world and they will love us for it! We'll be seen as liberators." **

Look, the US Marines have a code of conduct, and they are required to follow it at all times. Marines are supposed to be able to do their mission, without emotional compromise, at all times. It is part of the reason they are so respected in America - on the left and right. If our goal is to "spread democracy" and the American way of life, how is that goal achieved with this public relations nightmare? How long before some Al Qeda scumbag kidnaps an American, kills them, and pees on them. How much do you wanna bet Dana Loesch will display righteous disgust over this peeing incident, and call for revenge on Muslims - any of them, hardly matters which one - for doing this to Americans? I'd bet it all, my friends. And no one in the media will ever call her out on it because the media is petrified of challenging the assertions of conservatives for fear of being called "liberally biased."

When word of her pro-peeing on corpses message made it beyond the realm of her radio show, she doubled down on it, and (of course) attacked liberals and said they hate the military, blah blah blah. Usual right-wing nonsense. Here is some of her statement:
"There is a difference in advocating for the Marines to break the law, which I didn’t do, and defending them from overly-dramatic hysteria. I was using absurdity to highlight absurdity. It’s absurd to desecrate corpses but it’s not wrong to hate terrorists who are trying to kill our troops–and us. And I’m not in uniform–so I am free to express what a lot of Americans feel about the controversy, even if it makes some pony-tailed academics feel uncomfortable...My entire point of the past two days was to highlight the absurd reaction from militant troop-bashers to these Marines."
I see. So only pony-tailed academics think it's a bad idea for US Marines to piss on dead combatants? Interesting then why the Defense Department spokesman Capt. John Kirby said of the incident "Regardless of the circumstances or who is in the video, this is egregious, disgusting behavior. It’s hideous. It turned my stomach.”

Is that an absurd reaction? Hell, even Rush freakin' Limbaugh wasn't celebrating Afghan Pee Party 2012, "Well, there's a video, nobody knows how old it is, of some U.S. Marines urinating on the bodies of Taliban combatants in Afghanistan. Peed on them. And of course it's Marines. It violated the rules. There's no defense of this."

So, to highlight the absurdity of Dana Loesch's call to "drop trou" and pee on dead people, I will say that I'd like to personally pee on Dana Loesch.* Of course it's absurd to pee on a right-wing bloviator, but it's also absurd to defend the actions of those Marines so vociferously. So, I'd call it a wash.

* I actually wouldn't pee on Dana Loesch, alive or dead. I'm not a pee freak like her. I am only exaggerating to show how ridiculous she is.

** That is not an actual quote by any actual right-wing douchebag. It's just how imagine they'd talk on their silly radio shows and on Fox
