The Headline Says It All

No negotiations. It's my way or the highway. This has been the teahadists' mantra for the last two years. Now that they are responsible for actually governing, some (not me) thought the right would act more responsibly and take others' ideas into consideration (or allow reality to occasionally trump ideology). They won't.

Walker has ginned up this bogus budget "crisis" and now he is only allowing for his radical "solution" to fix it. Walker has the unanimous backing of every Republican in the legislature. When asked if compromise was possible, the Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald (R) said, "Won't happen, won't happen, won't happen."

Is this democracy? It seems to be that these teabaggers will not stop until every state in the union is in as horrible shape as Alabama or Mississippi. I, for one, do not want to be brought down to the lowest levels in higher education and high school graduation, while being at the highest level in obesity. This is not what the tea party says it stood for.
