Fuck You Glenn Beck You Anti-Semitic Asshole (UPDATED)

In the above clip from Glenn Beck's February 22 radio show. Beck compares Reform Jews to radical Islamists. The reason? A majority of Reform Jews are liberal. So, naturally, that means they are the same as Al Qeda. I am waiting for someone, anyone on the right to finally call a spade a spade and admit that Beck is anti-Semitic. In the last year alone, he has made nearly a dozen anti-Jewish comments on the radio and television, and no one on the right will even speak up.

This week's comments are based on nothing but pure hatred. Claiming that the Reform movement in Judaism is little more than a liberal political organization is unbelievably offensive to the millions of Reform Jews around the world. In the US, Reform Jews are the largest Jewish denomination. Reform Judaism began in the 19th century in Europe. For a little more information, check Wikipedia.

"Reformed rabbis are generally political in nature. It's almost like Islam, radicalized Islam in a way, to where it is just -- radicalized Islam is less about religion than it is about politics. When you look at the reform Judaism, it is more about politics...It's not about terror or anything else, it's about politics, and so it becomes more about politics than it does about faith. Orthodox rabbis -- that is about faith. There's not a single orthodox rabbi on this list. This is all reformed rabbis that were -- that made this list." - Glenn Beck, 2/22/11

The "list" Beck is referring to is the list of over 400 rabbis that asked for Beck to be censured in some way for his past anti-Semitic commentary. Contrary to Beck's claims, Rabbis of all Jewish denominations signed the petition - including the Orthodox.

Beck ought to just shut his booze hole and talk about something he knows something about:  being a drunk and being a racist. He knows those topics well. He should stay away from religion because he knows very little.

UPDATE (2/24/11): Beck apologized for the remarks about Reform Jews. He said his comments were "ignorant" and that he "didn't do enough homework." Nice of him to acknowledge his obvious error, now maybe he can apologize for all the racist stuff he's said about the Obama family, but I am not holding my breath.
