(from thedarkstuff.com) One of the most important British bands of the post-punk era, Wire, has returned with a new album. The record, Red Barked Tree, is the band's 12th in 34 years (which includes a lot of time being broken up). Chicago Tribune critic Greg Kot gives the album 3 out of 4 stars. I haven't heard the record yet, so I can't put my two cents in. However, I do really like Wire, so I figured I'd post this video of them performing "Heartbeat" in 1979 on European television.
