In a new poll released this week, Republican rising star, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was dealt a pretty severe blow to his obvious presidential ambitions. When the citizens of New Jersey were asked who they would support for president in 2012, Christie would lose to President Obama in his home state by a large margin. The poll showed that 55% would support the president, while only 38% would support the governor. The other Republican contenders were also matched up against Obama, and the only one who did worse than Christie was Sarah Palin.
