Today's Must See Non-Music Video

Rachel Maddow had a very interesting show last night. The primary focus was the newest Andrew Breitbart/Fox News fake race-based scandal. Maddow puts the latest fake scandal in the context of how conservatives have used race to manipulate voters (especially in the South) since the late 1950s. She shows how the technique of scaring white voters into believing that success for African-Americans means something will be taken away from whites has been used time and time again, and it has worked. She argues that the current crop of fake, race-based scandals (ACORN, Van Jones, Shirley Sherrod) is a continuation of that pattern. It is a very compelling piece, and worthy of its own posting.
