Yeah...It's Election Day

Today is primary day in Nebraska. I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't know. Nebraska voting levels for primaries is probably around 20%, if even that. Kinda makes sense since most people this year are running un-opposed for party nominations. The Omaha World Herald has created an election guide, which can be found here.

It is a pretty inconsequential election day since there are hardly any real primary races to speak of. Still, it's hard to let an election day go by without participating...

I've always heard others say that it is a shame that more people don't pay attention and vote. While I agree with that, I would just as soon not have people vote if they are not informed on the issues and candidates.

That is how you get fools, crooks, criminals, and Marxists into office. :)

Well, in Nebraska, voters have almost no choice at all. It is basically a one-party, right-wing state. Even so-called Democrats like Ben Nelson are DINO, and vote nearly 100% of the time with the GOP.

The voters here are incredibly uninformed, and don't vote based on their interests, but solely on party affiliation. It's pretty sad.
