My blogging might be a little slowed down due to the fact that I saw the above screen on my home desktop computer last night. That's right...the blue screen of death. PC users know and dread seeing that, as a new computer purchase is most likely in their future.
Thankfully, my data was able to be salvaged, but many of my programs are gone. I'll be spending the next few days getting the machine back to where it was.
I'll try and keep updates coming, but if I am a little short of my usual amount, you know why.

It's George Bush's fault or maybe Reagan's . I lost track.
It was probably socialism, right?
That does suck Dave. Glad your data was saved though.
By the way, if the left had managed to pass the inaccuratly-named "Fairness Doctrine" already, would that mean that a conservative would have to intentionally crash his computer? :)
No Dave Socialism does more damage than that.
More damage than destroying the economy as your laissez-faire, no regulation, look the other way while criminals steal the American people blind, buddy George W did? Doubt that is even possible.
Right like all the laissez-faire Fanny Mae had no hand in it either.
Now Obama wants to create another mortgage program for unqualified buyers.
You don't think they were looking the other way? Actually the were looking right at it and Barney Frank and Mr Chris 'Regulation' Dodd were saying Nothing is wron with Fannie and Freddie.
You want regulation then have it but don't pick and choose.
90 million dallor bonuses was okay for them though I guess right?
I have no idea why I am picking on you . I gues you were just "there".
I find the hypocrisy of the left and the media (but then I repeat myself) of how they criticized Bush, and rightly so, for the contributions that he received from Enron and how they screamed about this corruption, but when Obama and his administration gets 10 times as much in contributions from Goldman Sachs, hardly a peep is heard.
Big government and corruption is evidently only acceptable when it is governed by a REAL Marxist like Obama and not a pretend one like Bush.
Your point is dis-proven Paine by the very fact that even though Goldman was a big donor to Obama's campaign, they are still being sued/prosecuted by his administration. This sounds quite different than when Bush used to protect his friends from prosecution - including his friend Ken Lay of Enron - from ever seeing justice.
And now the GOP is fully in bed with Wall St and coordinating their attacks on reform. How is it that after the greatest economic collapse in 70 years, the Republican Party would work together with those largely responsible to stop reform? It's pure hypocrisy.
So, now going after criminals is Marxism? I really think you don't understand the concept.
My God, you honestly believe that, don't you?
Hell, Goldman Sachs is defacto running our country. Ask former member and tax cheat Tim Geitner!
Right, and you're saying Henry Paulsen - architect of the bailout - wasn't from Goldman? And all of the Goldman illegality wasn't during the Bush years?
You have a very selective interpretation of recent history.
Oh, you are definitely correct about that with Bush too, Dave.
Goldman Sachs will pay to play with anyone. Evidently if it will help hold on to power so will Obama by giving them a place at the governmental trough.
