Everybody Hates Joe

It seems that the good people of Connecticut are not too happy with the way Joe Lieberman (I-CT) has politicized the health care reform debate and held real reform hostage to Lieberman's desire for revenge against the Democratic Party. Joe's approval ratings in his state are at the Dick Cheney level of 25%, while disapproval of him is at 67%. Broken down by party, Democrats are at 14% approve to 86% disapprove, Republicans at 39% approve to 48% disapprove, and Independents are at 32% approve to 61% disapprove. I doubt Joe Lieberman could get re-elected again in Connecticut, but we will still have to deal with him for another two years.

Although Joe has been smart on national defense issues, he is too clever by half on domestic issues. He happens to be on the right side of the argument in this case, but with the moon-bats being a majority in Connecticut, he may very well be in trouble.

Frankly, I am more happy that his idiot counterpart, Chris Dodd, won't be running for re-election.

That lying rat bastard should have been removed from office and prosecuted for his crap with Fannie, Freddie, and the whole sub-prime fiasco that he and Barney Frank were neck deep in.

I'm glad Dodd is going but not because I agree with your characterization of him. As for the good people of Connecticut, remember they elected Lieberman in 2006. Most Democrats voted for Ned Lamont. It would appear that the moonbats in Connecticut were of the right in that case.

Only in Connecticut would Lieberman be considered right wing...
