Congressman Henry Brown (R-SC) has announced that he is retiring from Congress and will not seek re-election this year. The reason? He doesn't like being in the minority party. What a spineless weasel. I guess he ran for office for personal perks and not due to any leaning toward public service. Adios, amigo.

If that is why he is quitting then I share your sentiments in saying good riddance. Now is the most important time to be standing on principle, considering all of the Democrats and most of the Republicans have abandonded theirs.
