Another Piece of Right Wing Bullshit Proven False

All throughout the 2008 Presidential campaign, Republicans in general (and Sarah Palin in particular), kept making the false assertion that President Obama and 1960s radical, Bill Ayers, were close political allies and friends. Palin notoriously claimed that Obama "pals around with terrorists" - a reference to this made up claim of an allegiance between Obama and Ayers.

Both President Obama and Mr. Ayers said they barely knew one another, and had merely served at the same time on a board to discuss education. Palin and the Republicans kept up the attack, and began making up more lies on top of the ones that had already been discredited. They began to assert that Ayers was a ghostwriter on Obama's books, that the two talked daily, and that Obama began his political career in Ayers' home. All of which were proven, definitively, false.

As if more proof were needed (which it is not), Bill Ayers is now out publicly protesting against President Obama's escalation of the war in Afghanistan. "I am appalled and alarmed that once again we are escalating the war, and the idea that there are benchmarks for getting out are a myth and a lie," said Mr. Ayers.

Looks like they weren't such kindred souls, after all. Another right wing myth shot to shit.

I believe that a lot of what people such as Palin say is little more than populist-style propaganda with a tendency to instill fear and worry in their supporters... and that a lot of their supporters simply spout talking points, not realizing the extent to which they are tools of their puppeteers/idols.

It's sad, really, how such vile people can snooker so many thousands to millions people into marching along. Those who follow blindly should know better. They should be questioning the things people like Palin say, not running around repeating things which are frequently falsehoods.

Oh, really, genius. You're from Chicago, so you're some sort of expert. There are what, 8 million people in Chicago? But you know something is a fact despite both people denying it and the lie being thoroughly debunked. Right. Wing. Liar.

Listen yoyo the reason I know is because I read A Lot.The chicago media is not as blinded by the great1's light as the national outlets and therefore report the facts!!

Ok, yoyo. But you dumb wingnuts need to make up your mind. All throughout the 08 election, you whined that the media refused to tell "the truth" about Obama, now if you read anything critical, you take it as gospel. But, Mr. Anonymous, since you obviously voted for the Palin ticket, you are disqualified from knowing anything. Only stupid people like Palin and would vote for her. Therefore, you are stupid and are unable to correct me about anything.

I stand by my previous statement regarding your obvious idiocy. You cannot correct me while being a Palinista. It is not possible.

And since when is everything in print automatically accurate? I read a story that said that Sarah Palin's retarded kid was actually her daughter's kid. So, by your standards, you agree that Sarah Palin lied about her last pregnancy, lied to the McCain campaign and to the American people. OK. I'll take your word on that, genius.
