I know the right loves to hate the Kennedys, so it has to be tough to see and hear such nice things about them today. Hopefully, for one day, everyone can put aside politics and just celebrate the man's accomplishments and his life.
I have no problem with celebrating the accomplishments of the man. What I abhor is the cannonizing of the man and attributing wonderful characteristics to him that he did not possess.
I agree. Kinda like the way Reagan was treated after he finally died. The media made it seem like he was actually a good president, when the evidence clearly shows he was all hype.
Humor is a concept rarely mastered or even understood by conservatives, I guess. But as for my sobriety...I am stone cold sober. Never had a sip of right wing kool aid, never will.
