Stop Stealing Our Yard Signs You Republican Assholes!!

There is a disturbing new trend taking place in West Omaha these days, and that is the rampant theft of Barack Obama yard signs. My parents have had two signs stolen from their yard just this week. At one time, just a week or so ago, one could see a decent amount of Obama yard signs throughout the (relatively) affluent, (mostly) white, suburban neighborhood. But now, the only signs that remain are McSame/Palin, and it is not a mystery why only those remain.

As election day gets closer and closer, and polls look worse for Sen. McSame, it seems his rabid, disturbed, and angry supporters are trying to lash out any way they can. In this case, they are resorting to trespassing and theft. It needs to end. This is America, and the Constitution guarantees a right to freedom of speech. This includes posting a sign for your preferred candidate on your property. One should not have to worry about right-wing thugs violating your rights and stealing from you.

And, you know something you dummies that are stealing the signs: in order to get a sign, you need to make a contribution to the campaign. So, every time you steal one, the victims of the theft go and make another contribution to the candidate you hate so much to get a replacement sign. Thanks, I guess, for contributing to the overwhelming financial advantage that Democrats have this election cycle.
