Americans Think The Media Is "Out of Touch"

In a new Zogby poll it was revealed that 67% of Americans "believe traditional journalism is out of touch with what Americans want from their news."

Thank you, America. Hopefully, someone in charge will understand that those who watch television news want to know more on things like the war in Iraq, corruption in government, what candidates for office positions are (not simply what their race or gender is), what happens in other countries besides the US (i.e. international news) and NOT what is happening to Britney Spears, how much time Paris Hilton is spending in jail, what Hillary Clinton's "body language" says about her, or who is winning on American Idol.

So, all you media types, can we agree that when you try and justify your wall-to-wall Britney coverage by saying that it is what the people want, that you are completely full of shit?
