Well, not really. Traci Lords - the woman who almost singlehandedly brought down the adult industry in the 80s - will be starring in the next Kevin Smith movie called Zack & Miri Make a Porno.According to Smith, the movie is about "two lifelong friends -- Zack and Miri -- who after finding themselves deep in debt enlist their friends to make a pornographic movie with the goal of earning some quick cash."
In addition to Lords, the movie will also star Seth Rogen (Superbad, Knocked Up) and Craig Robinson (Darryl from The Office).
To be honest, I think Kevin Smith is one of the most overrated film makers of all time. He made one good movie - Clerks - and has been sucking ever since. But I love Seth Rogen, so I'm inclined to check it out. Plus, there's Traci Lords...

It's amazing how often Hollywood will make two films about the same subject and release them in the same time period. There was a movie called "The Amateurs" that came out a few months ago about some friends who make a porn movie. It starred Jeff Bridges, Ted Danson and a bunch of other folks.
Hmmm.... Ted Danson making a movie about making a porno? Might be worth a rental. I hadn't heard of it.
