According to a new report by the New York Times, Chevron Oil is prepared to admit that they participated in a kickback scheme with former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. The company will be paying tens of millions in fines for this violation of US law which occurred in 2000. Guess who was on the company's board at the time and led its public policy committee? Condoleeza Rice. She resigned from Chevron in January 2001 when she was named National Security Adviser.
Miraculously, Saddam Hussein became an imminent threat as soon as Condi no longer made money dealing with him. Gotta love how convenient that was for her.
