Maher really nails it on this one. The deliberate outing of covert CIA Agent Valerie Plame was a treasonous act. The Bush Administration cared more about themselves, their reputation, and covering their asses than they did about protecting the country. Why else would you deliberately destroy the career of someone working undercover in weapons counter-proliferation in the Middle East? Anyone who tries to dispute the covert status of Valerie Plame and defends the actions of the administration have disqualified themselves from ever being taken seriously on national defense. A big part of national defense is "National." It is not about protecting one President at the expense of the rest of the nation.

I saw this last night, Bill Maher is always on track with the mess this President gets caught in.
I liked what he said about patriotism... Bill is right on track in regards to this President.
I loved Maher's comment about how Bush always dreamed of being a spy like Valerie Plame (when he wasn't pretending to be a cowboy or a fighter pilot).
People like Bill Maher and Jon Stewart are the real heroes of the last few years in terms of media (Olbermann comes very close too). They are able to say what so many of us obviously feel.
