Keeping Right-Wing Radio In Line

Just saw this picture at Andrew Sullivan's blog. Look at those sad, sad "talk show hosts" sitting around getting the talking points directly from The Decider. I spy Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Michael Medved (I thought he was a movie critic?), Mike Gallagher, and Neal Boortz. I guess this ends the debate as to whether or not talk radio is merely a propaganda wing of the Republican party...

Boy, no kidding. Talking Points Central.

It's really sad. If Al Franken met with Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi, the right would go ballistic and the mainstream media would ask if liberal talk radio is an arm of the Democratic party. The media has completely ignored the implications of this picture/story.

I think the left could hammer the public over the head with this picture and the point would still not make it through. Too many of the rightwing voters virtually worship the slimeballs in this photo... and I think they are all slimeballs to the Nth degree. About all this picture is missing are Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly and Anne Coulter... and they probably didn't want them there because it would have made for too tempting a target... heh...

Actually, O'Reilly interviewed Bush for his TV show, and Cheney called in to Limbaugh the other day. They are still part of the talking point dissemination process.

As for Coulter...they probably just emailed her. Who would want to be seen with her?

My question is, how come nobody invited Michael Savage?
