Zarqawi Is Dead. Does Anyone Remember Osama?

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is dead. Good. While the right wets itself in celebration, and makes claims that this is proof that Bush is doing the right thing in Iraq, I have some questions. Why is Osama Bin Laden still a free man? When will the Bush Administration do something about catching the man responsible for 9/11?

Al-Zarqawi was a bad guy, no question. But his death means very little in the grand scheme of the Iraq War. The insurgency is more than 95% Iraqi, so Al-Zarqawi's foreign fighters represent less than 5% of the problem. I'm glad he's dead, but right-wingers need to calm down. This is not the end of the insurgency. This is not the end of terrorism. And this does not mean the Iraq War was a good idea. It wasn't.

You America-hating liberal! How could you turn one of Bush's greatest triumphs into a sarcastic remark. Who are you, Michael Moore?
