
Al-Zarqawi was a bad guy, no question. But his death means very little in the grand scheme of the Iraq War. The insurgency is more than 95% Iraqi, so Al-Zarqawi's foreign fighters represent less than 5% of the problem. I'm glad he's dead, but right-wingers need to calm down. This is not the end of the insurgency. This is not the end of terrorism. And this does not mean the Iraq War was a good idea. It wasn't.
