In all honesty, I'm not really sure how happy I am about eating sushi, either. I love Asian food (Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, etc.), but have never acquired a taste for sushi. The two times I had it before, I was not too into it. I am willing to try it again. My friends also offered up going to The Taj, but I eat there every week, so I wanted to try something different. I am definitely not going to go out afterwards because I am not feeling 100%. I want to go to sleep kind of early and try to kick this cold or whatever immediately.
UPDATE (10:00 pm): Sushi was okay. I got a combo platter that had some sushi and some other stuff like Chicken Tempura. Mike Mogis of Bright Eyes was there with his girlfirend (wife?). I feel like shit, so I am going to sleep now. More to report tomorrow...

I'm not a big fan of sushi either, but it helps to go to a buffet style seafood place. I find that way I can try a bunch of different kinds, and there's also some other food to eat so I don't go completely hungry. I still don't know how people can eat JUST sushi and be full after that, I guess you probably need to like it a lot for that to happen.
I was the only one in my group that got something other than sushi. I also had to use the kiddie chopsticks (they called them cheater's chopsticks) where the ends are tied with a rubber band so they are easy to use. I'm a freaking idiot with chopsticks.
ha ha, I'm the same with chopsticks, I don't even bother anymore.
