You Missed a Spot...

  • Texas governor tells gay veterans to leave the state. Despite the fact that they risked their lives for the freedom of all Americans (including Texans), Gov. Rick Perry would prefer they leave his state. What an asshole. Yet another reason to give Texas back to Mexico.
  • AC/DC's Back in Black is now the fifth biggest selling album of all time! It has now sold 21 million copies in the US. The rest of the top 5 is: 1)Eagles Greatest Hits, 2)Michael Jackson's Thriller, 3)Pink Floyd's The Wall, and 4)Led Zeppelin 4.
  • GOP cover-up in Ohio! Republican governor has known about a $215 million loss from risky investments made by the state's workers comp. bureau since last September but has been concealing the information. The bureau's CFO was fired last fall, but the governor kept this away from Ohio voters. The $215 million loss occurred in just 6 months.
  • The Flaming Lips cruise? Carnival Cruises has announced a cruise that will feature the Flaming Lips as the house band! It will be something of a floating music festival that will also feature G. Love & Special Sauce, and Medeski, Martin & Wood. The cruise will be in October, and will sail to Mexico. But will Gopher be there.....
  • Great newcomer named Lana.
