• Nike steals Minor Threat artwork for new campaign. Dischord Records (Minor Threat's label) is considering a lawsuit. Nike's new campaign is called "Major Threat" and steals the cover art and logo from Minor Threat's Complete Discography album.
  

• Circleville, Ohio residents want their street name changed. The residents of Hitler Road are asking for the street name to be changed. The name of the street pre-dates World War II.

• It depends on what the meaning of "throes" is. Dick Cheney parses words with Wolf Blitzer over his bogus claim that the Iraqi insurgency is in its "last throes." Despite the fact that EVERY military commander with firsthand knowledge says the insurgency is strengthening not weakening, Cheney clings to his pathectic lie. He disputes the meaning of "throes" to make it seems as though he is not a liar.
  
• Bush Administration shorts veterans health care by $1 Billion. That's right...ONE BILLION DOLLARS. Karl Rove assures the veterans that no health care for vets is essential to fight Bush's war on terror. Liberals and veterans' groups just wouldn't understand...
